The only thing that made the show bearable... The times he was on screen was like a cold, refreshing drink in the middle of the Sahara. Even though he's from a race of evil overlords, he's friendly, innocent, and charming. Oh, and he goes homicidal later. That was pretty cool.

Soubi is a college art student. But, more importantly, he is a highly trained Sentouki... a battling spellcaster who exists to fight for his other half. Problem is, Soubi's other half is presumed dead, and he is now paired with a 12-year-old named Ritsuka. But that's ok... Soubi has a thing for younger boys, and he's not afraid to show it! Boy is he not afraid to show it... O.o I swear his seductive charm oozes off the screen. Err, is it getting hot in here or is it just me? o.o

Rudou kills children, rapes women, and sacrifices people and other animals to try to summon a demon. Sure he has issues from his childhood, but not quite enough to account for all of that. And he's not exactly unstable, either. In fact, he's quite practical, level-headed, and more than happy to explain every minute detail of his actions to the police when he's caught. I guess what fascinates me about Rudou is his complete lack of morality or, I should say, his own very special brand of morality.

Ahh Kakashi-sensei... a staggering amount of rabid fangirls singing praises of his undeniable hotness yet 95% of the time all you see of his face is a single eye and the other 5% of the time you see both. That's ok, though, there's plenty of fan art out there to show us what he reeeaally looks like underneath. He somehow manages to pull off looking bored and amused simultaneously. He also reads pr0n.

Strategic genius and king of the shadows, Shikamaru can........'t do anything useful, really, yet his scenes are still some of the most suspenseful in the entire series. He prefers not to get his hands dirty unless he positively has to and his attempts to avoid confrontation are absolutely adorable.

It takes a real heartless bastard to not sympathize with Haku. He was rescued from the streets by a warrior named Zabuza and the two traveled together ever since. Sweet, innocent, and kind, Haku is also a highly proficient ninja skilled in manipulating ice mirrors.

Snakes, slit pupils, long hair, pasty skin... who can not help but love this beautiful creature? I've liked Orochimaru ever since he rode in on his giant serpent and made the ninja kids realize they're in the big leagues now. I like his ruthless ambition and direct displays of power. I adore how the power he gave Sasuke elevated him to a brand new level of psychotic whoopass and am overjoyed that he is "training" him.

Zoro comes from a long and proud tradition of characters that want to be “the best swordsman in the world.” An admirable goal, indeed, and more power to him! But if you must factor in angst to this age-old formula, please make it something bigger than “my girlfriend/rival tripped and died.” *sigh* That’s ok, though, Zoro is sweet, and honorable, and stubborn... unbelievably stubborn. He won’t lose, and he won’t die, until he says so... no matter how many gallons of blood he sheds.

How did this happen? No, seriously, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?? Before watching the show, my relationship with Luffy has always been “neutral-creepy,” but gosh darnit, he’s just plain awesome!! He doesn’t let petty things like “events” or “reality” get in the way of his goals. If he decides something, it’ll happen, no matter what others may say or do to the contrary. It so happens Luffy decided he will become Pirate King and I, for one, am inclined to believe him.

Orphen's physical appearance is absolute perfection. He ranks among the hottest characters in all of anime. However, his personality leaves something to be desired. It's not that it's bad or anything. It's just blah, with no real qualities that stand out. He also keeps casting the same spell over and over again. ("Oh no! My spell didn't work! Lets try it again." *repeat*)

Kind, honorable, and immensely strong. I don't understand why Akane doesn't go for him instead of Ranma, but maybe it has something to do with him not being around much thanks to his horrible sense of direction. Oh well, at least he gets to sleep with her in his alternate form as a pig.

Parn does his best to defend the land from evil and protect his friends.

Deedlit is a High Elf who uses elemental magic. She's very close to nature, and to Parn.

Poor Kenshin. Barely clinging to the list thanks to Hitokiri Battousai and the amazing OVA. Although the TV show's goody-two-shoes Kenshin kinda annoys me now, if my walls are any indication I used to be rather obsessed with him and I give him full credit for that. I mean, he was in the Top 10 List for God's sake!
