The Silver Guardians are
poised to apprehend Nadira when... the Time Force Rangers arrive!

| ERIC: |
"Hello,
Rangers! Stop by to see how well I do my job?" |
| KATIE: |
"Hey!
Don't you mean do OUR job??" |
| ERIC: |
"Whatever!
All I'm trying to say is you really don't need to... drop
by." |
| KATIE: |
"DROP
BY?!" |
| WES: |
"Easy,
Katie! He's just trying to get a rise out of us." |
A rise out of what,
Wes? Are you trying to say that Eric's constant
confrontations
are turning you on??

"Just
let it go, come on." |
| ERIC: |
"If
I were you I'd let the whole Ranger thing go. Soon all the
Quantum
powers will be unlocked, the Silver Guardians will take
over, and you'll
be obsolete." |
Woah,
there, Eric! I think all this dirty talk is making Wes
horny. /I got nothin' ~_~;
Eric gloats as the
Time Force Rangers dejectedly leave.

Eric does prove that he has a
soft spot for animals... and children.
He lets a little girl look on while he feeds his birds.
| GIRL: |
"Hi
little birdies! Are they best friends?" |
The correlation with
Wes was not lost on Eric.

| ERIC: |
"...Yeah,
I guess so." |
| GIRL: |
"That's
nice! Everyone should have friends!" |
|

|
Now it's Eric's turn to fondly
contemplate... is he lonely? what does Wes mean to him?
But his dreamy reverie is
interrupted by Ransik's thugs that shove him into their car.

|
They hold him at gunpoint
against the railing of a bridge and encode his voice.
The Rangers show up shortly, and Eric takes that as his cue to
jump... and get shot anyway.
Why did he do it? Who
knows...
But Wes has been known to save him before, so perhaps he was
looking to attract his attention.

| WES: |
"ERIC!!
NOOOOO!!!" |
| JEN: |
"Don't
worry! I got him!" |
Alas, it is the Pink
Ranger that jumps in after Eric.
Why? I say she's jealous and wanted to sabotage Wes' rescue
plans. |

| ...Huh?
Hey, you're not Wes! |
 |
| ERIC: |
"Ugh,
I don't need your help!!" |
| JEN: |
"Obviously
you do! You would've drowned in the river if I hadn't
pulled you out!" |
| ERIC: |
"Well
if you think I'm going to thank you, you're wrong!" |
|
Eric - not phased by
women.
|
|
|
Later
on, AFTER Eric just defeated a giant mutant ON HIS OWN,
Wes comes in with some relationship advice!
| WES: |
"Eric,
we really need to start working together." |
| ERIC: |
"....." |
| WES: |
"Well,
will you at least think about it?" |
| ERIC: |
"..........*slowly
turns around and walks away*" |
|
|
|
Well, he didn't say
"No."
|
 
|
| Eric
goes back to the comfort of his own home, happy that his birds
are alright.
Little does he know that
he is being stalked by Wes through his wire fence. |

Wes
is reassured that Eric is indeed capable of kindness,
and perhaps decides Eric will be good with their future
children. |
