IKKI VS. SHAKA Here is a battle between an atheist and a god, passion and serenity, each rivaling the other's enormous sense of pride. Despite this basically being a stare-down contest (since Ikki is either immobilized or out cold for most of it) it still manages to be one of the most exciting fights in the series, demonstrating the sheer tenacity of human willpower. SHAKA VS.
SAGA, CAMUS, SHURA If one guy versus three ex-Gold Saints wasn't epic enough, this fight is also deeply steeped in Buddhist mysticism, and plays a pivotal role in the battle against Hades. Shaka, the Man Closest to God, lives up to his title by conquering death itself and awakening the ultimate Eighth's Sense which allows the Saints to fight without handicaps in the Underworld. ICHIGO
VS. ZARAKI Okay, I still say Zaraki won this one. I mean, battles in Bleach seem to be decided by one of two things: 1) who falls down first and 2) whose sword breaks first. Ichigo loses on both counts. Zaraki is a total badass and it took the combined power of Ichigo, Hollow Ichigo, and Zangetsu to fight with him on even terms. Rooting For: Ichigo |
ICHIGO
VS. BYAKUYA This is the fight that propelled Ichigo to the rank of “Transcendent” on my Top 10 Anime/Manga Guys List (back when Ichigo was still on there and Bleach didn't suck). His bankai is revealed, sporting not one but two of my favorite abilities! And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, Hollow Ichigo opens up a can of whoopass on sakura boy. KURAMA
VS. GAMA, TOUYA, MAKEN Watch Kurama go up against not one, not two, but three opponents one after the other!! (Yes, being unconscious during a fight counts :P) First up is Gama, with the bloody makeup of doom! Kurama must use his head to get out of this one!! (Haha "head," get it? no?? watch the fight ~_~) Next he must face Touya the ice boy, and by the time he gets around to Maken... well, that doesn't go over very well, but it's cute to watch Hiei react. ^^ Rooting For: Kurama |

LEE VS. GAARA Oh how I wish this would’ve read “Sasuke vs Gaara,” but despite me not being a fan of either Rock Lee or Gaara, this fight is just plain awesome! I was absolutely terrified watching it!! At the edge of my seat all the way through. Rooting

HIEI VS. BUI This fight is a fine example of the pure pwnage that Hiei is capable of. Despite Bui being on the finalist team, a team that gave hell to the rest of Hiei’s comrades, the full power of Hiei’s Kokuryuuhaa utterly annihilated Bui... and the rest of the stadium, for that matter. ^.^;; Rooting For: Hiei |

KENSHIN
VS. SOUJIROU Soujirou's lack of emotion makes him completely unpredictable. He is younger than Kenshin, faster than Kenshin, and very willing to kill - unlike Kenshin. Simply put, Soujirou is BETTER than Kenshin, and if it wasn't for the cheap pop psychology, he would've easily wiped the floor with Kenshin. Rooting For: Soujirou |
